This course is ideally suited for any individuals that want to develop their skill sets and bring creative ideas to life. Individuals that have ambitions to go into careers such as content creators on YouTube, podcasters or to run an entrepreneurial digital business and wish to further develop these ideas and create opportunities for themselves that can lead into careers with companies such as DRPG.

Kidderminster College is proud to announce the new partnership with DRPG to collaborate in the creation of a new creative digital media course to bring together innovation in education and digital technology and media for the next generation of digital media creatives. ‘Creative Digital Media’ will be the first course under the new MAS Media department, which will be offered from September 2021.

Kidderminster College is home to the successful nationwide artist development programme ‘MAS Records’ that has been established for 20 years, which gives musical artists the opportunity to develop their careers in a real world environment while gaining an industry recognised qualification. MAS also is proud to have patrons that include Ricky Wilson (Kaiser Chiefs/the Voice), Karen Harding, and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin).

DRPG, who have set up this course in partnership with MAS Records, is a global creative communications group celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The group creates and delivers integrated communications solutions for an industry wide range of clients and brands, for both external and internal audiences worldwide. DRPG is also home to the filming of channel 5’s ‘The Gadget Show’ and has high-profile clients that include Jaguar Land Rover and Sainsbury's.

This partnership will combine the innovative educational model of MAS Records with the contemporary digital technology, experience, and practices of DRPG to enable learners to build their skills in an industry relevant setting as some elements of the course will be delivered on site at DRPG headquarters in Hartlebury where learners will be exposed to this working environment.

Equality and Diversity Statement

-----------

MAS Records is committed to creating a culture that respects and values each others’ differences, that promotes dignity, equality and diversity and that encourages individuals to develop and maximise their true creative potential.

It is our policy to treat all artists, musicians, employees, customers and associated parties fairly and equally regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, trans-gender status, marital status, civil partnership status, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religious belief, political belief, age or disability.

Accessibility

-----------

MAS Records is committed to promoting equality and accessibility in all facets of the artist development scheme.

As we are aligned with RSL to deliver our artist development programme we encourage all submitted evidence to be in video format in what we call the 'vegetarian approach' - everyone eats vegetarian! Submitted video evidence is more accessible for everyone as written evidence or other types of assessment can be difficult for some individuals. Video provides a level playing field for all.

----------

However, if you do need further assisted learning support (ALS) to complete evidence needs for the scheme this is available through contact with the MAS programme leader Stuart Eaves at our main Kidderminster campus via the number or email below.
