THE Live Local event is back at the Stourport Civic this weekend with a range of music from the local area.
The event takes place on Saturday, March 14, at 8pm, and will be the third event of its name at the Civic.
Young band, the Snapshots, whose members are 17 and 18 years old from Kidderminster and Stourbridge, will kick the night off, followed by a hip hop artist, White Noize, and Kidderminster indie and alternative band the Stirs.
Kevin Wrench, event organiser, said: “We’re hoping for a good turn out on Saturday.
“We’ve got three more great acts for March and yet again are trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible, with a mixture of musical styles.
“It should be another great evening and we are anticipating some great performances from all three acts.
“Beyond March’s event, we already have some fantastic acts lined up to appear at Live Local and we are committed to building up the Civic’s reputation as a great local venue supporting local musicians.”
Tickets for the event are £6 and are available from the box office or online at thecivicstourport.co.uk.
Tickets will be also available on the door, subject to availability.
