The first in a series of 'Master Classes' at Base Studios in Stourbridge for up and coming bands and artists.
This master class will be in a panel style setting with artists being encouraged to bring along their own material for feedback on the day.
The panel will include BBC Introducing's Andrew Marston, who will be explaining the BBC Introducing process and how they pick artists to be put forward for BBC Radio 1 playlist and major festivals.
Also on the panel will be Sue Buckler who has worked at Jive Records (Britney Spears) where she worked closely with the owners in promoting artists. She has also worked with Virgin Records. Sue is now a TV and Radio plugger, and is currently promoter for Ocean Colour Scene. She has worked with the biggest names in the business and will be explaining how a plugger works to promote your music.
The event will be hosted by Scott Garrett, Project Manager of MAS Records and music manager of artists.
